John T. Lynn Campus Network
|
| |
The John T. Lynn Campus Network is a switched Fast Ethernet network with a fiber optic backbone connecting all buildings on campus. Our servers run Windows 2003 server software and our network is connected to the Internet by a T-1 connection. Every classroom has one or more computers connected to the network with a growing number of classrooms hosting mini-labs. All buildings are equipped with at least one wireless access point allowing students and faculty to use laptops freely within those buildings.
Before students are allowed to use the Queen Anne School network, they and their parents must sign an “Acceptable Use Policy” which applies the school’s Philosophy and Code of Conduct to the realities of the virtual world.
