This course is a survey of America’s History from 1865 to the present. We will explore the economic, political, and social issues contributing to the creation of the United States as we know it today. Though much of the information presented will be from our textbook, this course will utilize many different types of sources. Critical thinking, reading and writing skills will be emphasized. Students will learn to take notes- in class, and while reading, and will develop other skills necessary for success at Queen Anne and in college.
